Amulette / Kazuko Ando.

Craft artist and publishing producer, Amulette creates three-dimensional collages using natural materials, including gemstones and flowers made from tree bark. Guided by the theme of “giving shape to individuality,” she employs original techniques to reveal the intrinsic beauty of the natural world that surrounds us.
Her work invites viewers to rediscover the value of the ordinary. The landscapes, traditions, and small moments of everyday life are often taken for granted, yet their true significance frequently becomes apparent only after they have disappeared. Through her art, she conveys a powerful message: to preserve and pass on the fragile beauty of everyday life, individual uniqueness, and Japanese culture for future generations.
Alongside her artistic practice, she works as a publishing producer, editing and publishing art books that preserve the works and stories of fellow artists. She is also actively engaged in supporting creative communities and fostering opportunities for other creators.
