Revon’s work interrogates our visceral relationships to “non human beings”, and especially plants.
In her current cyanotype triptych inspired by her readings of anthropologists Natasha Myers and Philippe Descola, she stages new ways to see and seed a plant/people relationship in the here and now. The plant’s roots, developing and vibrating among human activities, are observed and fixed in their entirety for 20 min forming an X-ray that gets the audience to move away from a familiar point of view to enter into another temporality.
