Bio
Roxane Revon is a multi-disciplinary artist. She grew up in France and studied philosophy (MA, La Sorbonne University) before moving to New York a decade ago where she started her artistic career and continued her education (Yale School of Drama). For a decade, she has been working as an award winning stage director, scenographer and teacher in NYC while, more recently, developing multimedia installations and visual arts. She was an artist in residence at the LMCC Art Center on Governors Island in the Fall 2021 and exhibited her work in Hong Kong, France and the US. In 2022, she was part of “The Flag Project RC” at the Rockefeller Center and received a LMCC Creative Engagement grant to develop her “Roon’s Roots” installation at the UNFIX NY Festival. She is thrilled to currently propose a solo exhibition of her work "Hidden Places" at the French Institute (FIAF) in NYC and to work on scenographies for the opera “Cosi Fan Tutte” at The Kimball Theater in Virginia and the Sarasota Ballet that will Premiere at the Joyce Theater in NYC in August 2022.
