GLASS TEETH FOR SLEEPING CITIES

18 06 2026

Concept by Matilde Della Pina Senior Art Curator

Cities no longer sleep. They remain lit, vulnerable, traversed by artificial lights and electronic memories. In this suspended landscape, the human being continues to search for something ancient: an authentic presence, an unfiltered emotion, a silence capable of resisting the noise of the world.

Glass Teeth for Sleeping Cities emerges as a collective passage through contemporary unease. The works in the exhibition inhabit fragile and visionary territories, where matter and perception are in constant transformation. Painting, photography, digital art, installation, and visual experimentation intertwine in a narrative built on contrasts: delicacy and collision, memory and artifice, vulnerability and mutation.

The participating artists construct an emotional geography in which cities become living organisms, capable of absorbing desires, fears, and fragmented identities. Each work appears as a trace left behind after the passage of something invisible: a memory, a trauma, a future possibility.

The exhibition offers no definitive answers. Instead, it invites the viewer to dwell within uncertainty, to listen to what emerges in the in-between spaces, in the smallest details, in the cracks of contemporary reality.

In a time dominated by speed and the overproduction of images, Glass Teeth for Sleeping Cities chooses to slow down perception and transform the artistic experience into a space of emotional and imaginative passage.

Not a simple exhibition, but an ecosystem of visions in which each work becomes a threshold.
