The artwork comes alive by applying a first layer of gouache using non-artistic materials instead of traditional tools, later enhancing it using color pencils. The artist created the piece by freeing herself from any a priori ideas, letting the materials speak for themselves; each stroke revealing a concept that is not fully formed until the end of the process, in this case low level clouds, also known as Stratus
