Nahoko Komatsu is an artist based in London and Tokyo with a mixture of traditional oil painting and contemporary art. Nahoko illustrates sceneries and figures that are filled with an unlimited sense of time and light, with a slow movement of growth. She creates paintings with my unique touch. Nahoko uses a mixture of styles from the East and the West. Nahoko draws shapes, smells, moods, and lights that stimulate her senses.
In 2021 she got a certificate of Royal College of Art in the UK, Postgraduate Art & Design, Contemporary Art Summer School. RCA alumni. In 2021 she was shortlisted by the Visual Art open 2021 UK & International Emerging Artist Awards. Also in 2021 she was selected in Japan at the Ueno-nomori museum exhibition in Tokyo. In 2019 she got a certificate of completion in Life Drawing from the Royal Academy of Art in the UK.
