I am Samia Rashid Hai. I was born in Dhaka Bangladesh in 1983. I am a self taught artist. I started to draw amd paint when I was 10 years old and after 10 years, I somewhat stopped. After a break of 15 years, I started painting again at 35. And I am glad that I did that. I felt I am once again alive. Since then I have participated in multiple Art exhibition across the globe. I mostly do abstract painting with acrylic and oil paint. I love to play with the colors and dabble on the canvas with brushes and palette knives. I take inspiration from the things I see and feel around me and try to pain my emotions and feelings. It feels great to see my thoughts on the canvas and I feel like the colors are speaking to me. I love having conversations with my paintings. They are my love letters to the world.
