I can paint a better picture when I am having a hard time, but that is very tiring and hard to do.
And such feelings gradually become accustomed, but once I get a grip on happy feelings, my tolerance for unhappiness decreases, and the next misfortune knocks me down from a very high place.
What soothes such a heart is socializing with friends, friends' art, one's own art, and music.
Music is necessary in the battlefield of the spirit.
My brush with the hard things I have had to deal with recently have helped me get into the groove.
