Hysteria to me is a burst of emotionally charged behavior. Shock would equate to a se-ries of unmeasurable laughter, sexual motion, wild movement and fearsome screams. Within my paintings, I used contrast, movement and femininity to express three of the dif-ferent types of emotions during a hysterical outburst. Intense color to show depth and the subjects look away so you can feel their energy.
