BEYOND COLOR
21.03.2025
"Beyond Color", the collective exhibition hosted by MADS Art Gallery in March, explores color not only as a visual element but as an emotional, cultural, and philosophical force that transforms and defines human experiences. This exhibition delves into the essence of color, focusing on perception, symbolism, emotion, and transformation.
The aim is to showcase how color, in its variety and power, shapes both the physical and inner realities of individuals, investigated through a sensory perspective.
Color is also examined in its symbolic and cultural meanings.
Each shade is a language of its own:
🔴 Red can evoke passion or danger.
🔵 Blue conveys serenity or coldness.
🟡 Yellow represents happiness or caution.
Visitors will encounter artworks, photography, and installations that engage with these symbols across various cultures, spanning from the Renaissance to contemporary color psychology.
Finally, the selected works are curated to elicit a direct emotional response from the audience, positioning color as a transformative force. Contemporary artists—through digital techniques, painting, sculpture, and installations—explore how color serves as a tool for change, offering a new vision of the world, both cathartic and liberating.
🖌️ "Beyond Color" challenges viewers to reflect on the deeper meaning and evocative power of colors, highlighting their significance in both daily life and artistic expression. This exhibition awakens a renewed visual and sensory awareness, inviting the audience to see color as more than a pigment, but as a language of transformation.
🔴🟡🔵 Discover the power of color. Explore its depth. Experience its transformation.
