When reaching the mountain summit after a long hike and it’s finally time to look down on the meters of altitude I have covered, I feel an adrenaline rush every time; for one of the height itself, and on the other hand because of the infinite freedom that expands towards you. With my new series "Burning Mountains" I want to capture this wave of emotion on canvas. In the process, I work with spatula, cork and wide brushes to achieve abstract effects.
