Lucrezia Giacometti was born on 2 September 1995 in Bagno a Ripoli and lives in Florence. She discovered her passion for art from an early age, a passion that accompanies her in her growth. She graduated from the Institute of Art and with a three-year degree in Visual Arts - Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, and she is attending the two-year course in Visual Arts and New Expressive Languages - Painting. For Lucrezia, art is something innate, a means of expression that has always helped her to face particular situations in her life. Her artistic research represents the constant observation of the introspective path of herself and of the individuals of society, which is determined by circumstances that they live in everyday life, and expressed through the strong shades of colour and the marked streaks that manifest the contrasting emotions that are hidden in everyone.
