Rooma Eejaz

Painter

Bio

Rooma Eejaz belongs to a multicultural background and was raised in Dubai, providing her with extensive exposure to international communities and a broad vision of common social issues. Despite her graduation in English Literature and Psychology, Rooma pursued further studies at the Writing School of London to enhance her writing skills, focusing on Newspaper, Drama, Movie, Novel, and Short Story writing. Specializing in articles address-ing social issues, health, women, and children, she also explored drama and movie script writing. Feeling there was a void to express herself, Rooma stumbled upon the field of art, leading to the creation of paintings that garnered appreciation from viewers. She began exhibiting her artwork, receiving numerous shields and trophies. Her passion for painting became a transformative experience, allowing her to transcend into another world and uncover the secrets of the inner self, reflecting both expressionism and realism in her works. Despite facing a stroke two years ago that left her temporarily paralyzed, Rooma continued to pursue her passion for art, even creating paintings during the two years she spent on a medical bed. Art proved to be a therapeutic outlet, aiding in her recovery. Returning to the art scene this year, she found strength to continue her journey to recovery and was recently appointed as the Art Director for the UNESCO International Action Art Club of Greece in her region.
