Hibiki Matsubara
Painter
Bio
Hibiki Matsubara. Japanese artist born in 1991. He is based in Tokyo. From an early age, he was fond of art, such as drawing, dancing, and singing. His memories of playing around with the monsters he drew himself are the source of his current art. For him, art is a "longing" for people, nature, various expressions and impressions, and the inspiration is a stimulus from "something". That "something" can be a family,a friends, a lover, a stranger in front of you, or someone you haven't seen yet. In addition to that, we enjoy a huge amount of things that are not people, such as food, nature, and cityscapes, whether consciously or unconsciously. Stimulation from "something" overflows at random moments, and invites him to create art activities in painting, dance, and poetic forms. Art is "longing" for him. In other words it can be said to be "respect". His art is a way of giving back to the "something" that inspired him.
