Description: “While I was creating this piece, I thought it needed a halo similar to the ones in Old Masters’ paintings used to depict holy entities. Of course, you can’t find a good halo any-where these days, so I got out my paint pens and drew one. I thought I might have gotten carried away with all the detail but by the time I shot it and brought it into my almost completed piece, it had the right look. And it gave Mannequin Madonna her name.”
