Pietra is a Brazilian artist born in Londrina, a small city in the south part of the country, and cur-rently resides in São Paulo. She currently works at a Marketing company and on her artistic pro-jects at the same time. She has always had artistic aspirations and in the future wants to pro-duce audio-visual materials such as short films and animations, in a way that will be integrated into the paintings, stories and poetry already elaborated by her. She wants people to experi-ence, understand and feel what she has to say in different ways.

Statement
“Art to me should be immersive in a way that makes you understand the world through the artist's eyes on several levels. Also, besides being something to be experienced, art serves us to opine, question, explain, challenge, shelter, admire, investigate and to learn. I am what I paint on canvas, and I also am what I haven't painted yet. I am what I perceive of reality, and I want everyone to see the same as I do. Not to agree or disagree but to perceive and to feel.”
