Artwork of a series ‘The five continents’ which regards Europe and the immigration current. Spain, France and Italy is shown with a texture of different color layers. From bird’s eye view you can see the national borders. These surfaces are mostly colored with warm color tones like brown, grey as earth colors. In the center of the picture they are streams of red color. They are located on the sea shores mainly in Italy, France and Spain. The red stands for the blood which symbolize the death of many refugees at this time ( Lampedusa etc )
