I paint to feel moved myself, but I want to move people too. I consider myself very fortunate, being able to manifest an idea into canvas inspired by the beauty and colours of this world, I find it extremely fulfilling. My work is personal, I search for my inner inspiration when I paint, I pour what I feel, it is a subconscious journey between my life experiences, my body and surrounding energy. I could say that my work feels it belongs to me when I’m working on it, but the moment someone looks at it and interprets it the way their imagination takes them and then my art belongs to everyone. I love how art speaks to everyone differently in the language of his or her own perspective. I’ve been artistic all my life; since I was a little girl my favorite things to do were to paint, make all kinds of arts & crafts and cook. As a believer that one never stops learning, I like developing my artistic skills both as autodidact and taking numerous art workshops. While maintaining a studio practice for the last 17 years, I have actively exhibited my work in numerous galleries as solo and as part of a group of very talented artists since 2003.
