Motherhood can be the loneliest of feelings. It can feel like you're sitting alone on a rock in the middle of the ocean, groping for something solid. Every time I reach for something solid, it's the children I feel. Their soft hands, clean hearts and laughter, they have always sat with me on that rock in the middle of the sea of motherhood, only that I forget it in the mist of life. I understand now that we are making this journey together that I am not alone after all and that I will always remain on this rock with you beloved children.
