This series of images is about the moments when the mind attacks itself. When everything seems to turn to ashes. The mind is like a palimpsest. Every new memory and every new moment means a new layer being applied to our mind. Sometimes, in sad moments, it seems as if only the painful layers are left, because they are the layers that were added last. But the beautiful memories and moments are still there. One of our greatest tasks in life is not to forget them so that we can add new ones to them. This series of pictures describes the journey.
