Title: Floral Zen Size: 11x14 Media: Watercolor and Ink Year Created: 2020 Description: In this piece, I used watercolor in the background and the flowers in the foreground are artist quality ink pens. I originally was going to make it only a watercolor painting, but it didn’t turn out the way I liked so I actually waited months, trying to figure out what I was going to do with it or what I would turn it into. After working on other pieces in between, mainly doodles and Zentangle-inspired art, I finally decided to draw doodle-style florals in the foreground and was very pleased with the result.
