Euphoria is the pure, joyful feeling I get when I am at my true happy place. I feel it in my entire body. My own personal paradise is at the summer cottage in Houtskär, in the archipelago of southwestern Finland. The summer cottage is surrounded by nature, and the only thing you can hear are birds chirping, insects buzzing and the sound of the waves washing on the rocky shore. It’s here I find peace and calm. I feel free. On the canvas, it is shown as bursts of pinks, violets, and turquoises. Happy colours. It is euphoria.
