Vera Kunas lives and works on the country in Northrhine Westfalia in Germany near Detmold. She studied History of Arts and Journalism in Berlin, where she grew up. Beside different pro-fessions, painting had always been her companion. She intensified her autodidactic artistic skills in studies at different Berlin facilities, i.e. participating in open classes at Hochschule der Künste and Kunsthochschule Weißensee. The most she learned by visiting private classes of Berlin artist André Bednarczik. Since moving to the country 2009, she intensified painting, especially region-al landscape. She is regionally engaged with exhibitions, as a teacher in painting, as a Gallery-member at 13.14produzentengalerie in Detmold and as a member at the Art Association ‚Das Fachwerk‘ in Bad Salzuflen.
