This painting is to all of them who made it, against all expectations. In my earlier work as a nurse, I have encountered so many stories. Stories that make you cry, stories that fill you with joy. The one thing in common for those who made it after a long battle with a disease is the joy of life. With this piece I have wanted to express those emotions. Life is so precious, every breath and every second, so make it count.
