Calm reflections
Walking beside the Williams River in the natural surroundings of a National Park, the tranquil waters invite us towards self-reflection. Gazing quietly in to depths of the cool, clear water is mesmerising. Calm descents within us as we stop and observe. The sheen on the water surface calls us to look beyond into the other world below it. Notice the smooth rocks. Those rocks show that, although worn by time in the elements, they have become smooth and solid. To marvel and relate that to potential traits in Self as we meander through life’s elements. Then, observe the tree flourishing on the moisture from those river waters and its roots strong and firm on the earth. Grounding us too, as we surrender to the sense of belonging to … something, somewhere. We reflect.
