Michela Cosimi was born in Fermo in 1964, and discovered the value of art at the age of 13, thanks to a teacher of Art Education. She turned toward artistic studies, attending the Liceo Ar-tistico "Osvaldo Licini" high school in Porto San Giorgio, in the province of Fermo, earning her baccalaureate in art. In his younger years she devoted herself fully to artistic practice, obtaining as his first recognition, a mention for the final of the Mondadori Art Prize. In 1991 she published her works in the series "Forma e colore "published by Editoriale Giorgio Mondadori, and in 1992 she co-founded the art group "Esteriorizzazione ". She also participates in a group exhibi-tion in Florence, at the same time, at the Teorema Gallery, the Literary Café " Le Giubbe Rosse and the Sheraton Hotel and also in 1992 she participates in a group exhibition at the Modiglia-ni Gallery in Milan. She becomes a mother and transposes her creativity in the field of 'educa-tion and training in favor of minors, managing from 1999 to 2010 a socio-educational center, where she is the designer of creative workshops with social value and art therapy workshops. She is also the creator of cultural, intercultural and environmental education projects that obtain regional contributions. In 2009 she graduated in Training and Human Resources Management with a multimedia focus. From 2012 to 2017 she does volunteer work in multimedia education, specifically dealing with specific learning disorders and disabilities. As of 2018, she returned to focus on artistic research by creating digital art, and as of 2021 she also returned to painting on canvas. Digital and traditional techniques coexist and indeed integrate in the artist's creative processes. In 2019 the artist resumes her exhibition activity and participates in a first group ex-hibition dedicated to the Byro Prize at the Diocesan and Capitular Museum in Terni, where she is reported to be among the first 10 selected and thus obtaining the opportunity to exhibit her work in 2020 at the Onil Gallery in Bremen, Germany. In 2021 she participates in the group exhi-bition "Arte in tour" at the Museo del Colle in Viterbo and also in 2021 she exhibits in New York , in the Manhattan district at the Van Der Plas Gallery. In 2022 she participates in Arte Fiera Genova , at the Genoa Trade Fair Center.
