“Electric piano lays out a minor chord to signal the fall of number 12. Tapped with gravity and accompanied by percussive beats, waves of colors dance in surreal wonder. The blue sinks further as red & yellow mix on top of the swirl before resolving into the visual height of the piece.”
Number 12 is laid out in composition with Adobe Illustrator. Then, the JPEG is imported into SideFX Houdini, each visual elements are extracted for further digital processing. The simulation of the movement goes through a number of iterations to get the feeling right and music is composed on top of the visual that loops in 12 seconds.
