Description:
The ‘beauty’ is the landscape with the smooth curves and the beautiful colours of the cacti against that. The ‘beast’ refers to the sharp thorns on the cacti which I interpret as being the protectors of the land they inhabit.
The cacti are so sculptural and succulent and it intrigues me how little they need to live on.
