Description: Matterhorn is one of the most iconic mountains in Switzerland and is just mesmerizing. It is a large, near symmetric pyramidal peak with four sides. There are parts of the mountain that are easy to climb and are popular destinations for climbers. The west face, which is the highest of the Matterhorn‘s four faces, was completely climbed only in 1962. It is estimated that over 500 alpinists have died on the Matterhorn, making it one of the deadliest peaks in the world. This painting represents the difficulties and the beauties of life. It has been painted six months long in 2021.
