The artwork is a digital collage of original photographs shot by me in Cornwall in 2011. It is part of a photographic project aimed at telling places, stories and sensations. Sometimes the storytelling is about symbolic places, other times about locations that just leave you breathless. This piece is about floating. When I was in Cornwall the feeling of waiting was very intense. People seemed to float waiting for something to happen. It is a place where time seems to be insubstantial. On the opposite side, the astonishing expressions of nature give strength to this beautiful land.
