Jenny Lennhammar Jenny Lennhammar is born in Stockholm, Sweden, but lives and works on Gotland, the Swedish island in the Baltic Sea, where she has her artist studio where she also offers creative workshops. Living on an island is special, the sea is always present and the small context creates a strong sense of belonging, but also isolation. Maybe you need to be stronger in the small community than in the big city? A question, which is the background to the new series \"Be you, just you\". Creativity began in her grandmother's studio, where she as a little girl had the opportunity to discover that nothing is impossible. Big and small. Colour or shape. An opportunity and force that forms the basis of her entire creation today. Through her painting, Jenny wants to convey the power and richness of colour we all have within us. We all have our unique way of expressing ourselves, as long as we give ourselves time to listen. She inspires by encounters with people, but also the contemporary society and the environment we live in. Jenny is a trained educator and Vedic Art teacher. She has had several exhibitions on both Gotland and the rest of Sweden. Today, Jenny divides her time between her own creation, her own courses and as a business developer on Gotland.
