This work is a tribute to my land and its fruits, its colours, its hardness and its stubbornness. The olive tree is typical of my region and has always been taken as a symbol of peace. For me it has also become a symbol of resilience and rebirth. After the xylella epidemic that struck the region's olive trees a few years ago, destroying many of them, some of them centuries old, the olive growers did not lose heart and managed (and still do) to fight the pathogen and revive the affected olive trees and plant new ones.
