I like to show the tilting movement of the boat sinking in the sea, against a background of sunset, this death drive that the viewer of the painting can savor and admire. I used bright colors to parallel the end of the day (sunset) and the end of the boat's life. This painting is perfect for the pretty perversion exhibition since we see the shift from life to death and the pleasure that the spectator can feel in observing this spectacle.
