The fisherman in harmony with the sky and the sea. Harry Haerendels old portrait of a fisherman with a pipe stood as the perfect inspiration to this painting.
The story behind the painting is the connection between that old Harry Haerendels painting and my danish friend Christoffer obsession with fishing and all that goes with it.
The portrait goes in a nice and calm blue tone. Telling that calm story of the harmony the fisherman finds when he is connected with he's elements the sea and the fishing rod. All the time in the world. All alone. And nothing that bothers him.
