Title: Kaimana
Size: 60in X 48in X 1.5in
Technique: Acrylic, Oil Pastel, Ink

This painting was created with acrylic paint, oil pastels and metallic ink on gallery wrapped canvas.
Kaimana, its name is composed of two parts,
Kai- meaning "Ocean"
Mana- meaning "Power"
Once said: The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its
net of wonder forever.."
The inspiration for Kaimana comes from ocean life and all its greatness for humanity.
The color palette was meticulously chosen to ensure the presence of water matter
and subsequently organic forms with a subtle floating effects. In this case the use of
acrylic paint with water soluble was applied on the canvas with large soft bristle brushes
while the larger color abstractions where acquired with an artist spatula, forming the dense and
character of the landscape.
