I am Merle Soolo. Born in Estonia, but now living in Finland. Around 2012 I got inspired by drawing, which slowly changed to painting. The spark to create my own art was ignited in 2017, and since then it hasn't gone out, but burns with an even bigger flame. Through my paintings, I want to convey to people the beautiful moments of life and hope for a better future. My passion for painting combined with my love for interior design inspires me to create luxurious functional artworks with a modern appeal. So in 2018, I discovered a new way to create alongside painting - epoxy resin art.I enjoy making epoxy art and its versatil-ity. The play of colours and materials on the surface I am working on is almost meditative. I make epoxy art products suitable for interior decoration, such as: serving trays, coasters, trays, clocks, table tops, etc. I also modify old furniture such as tables and small cabinets with epoxy coatings. Larger surfaces can also be treated with epoxy coatings, such as kitchen and bathroom partitions and worktops. I also provide online training on epoxy work. The year 2022 has been meaningful for me. I was accepted as a member of the Finnish Artists Association. I also started my own business, Merle's World, where I make and sell products/paintings designed and made by myself. I have also received many in-teresting proposals to participate in exhibitions and projects.I hope that my love and pas-sion for creative work will be transmitted to you through my art and products, and you will find something interesting, attractive or hopeful in my work.
