Katherine Noone (Katie) is an abstract painter from Wilmington, Delaware in the United States and she is 28 years old. Art has always been Katie’s passion. She knew she wanted to be an artist as she grew up, even from a young age. Katie lets her free-spirited, independent nature guide her as she paints, with her intuition and emotions leading the way. Painting is an extremely freeing experience for Katie. Her paintings have a flow and fluidity, leaving interpretations to the viewer. She is also a self-taught artist.
Katie attends Parsons School of Design in New York City for fashion design. She left her corporate job in 2019 to pursue fashion. Katie sees fashion as another art form, especially its flowing, fluid nature and these characteristics are also present in Katie’s paintings. She would ultimately like to become a full-time artist, living a happy and passionate life. In 2019, Katie worked in an elementary school with children who have a disability. Katie hopes her art has a healing effect on others and that it is able to help people. In addition, Katie has her bachelor’s degree in communication journalism and a business minor. She was a marketing editor for two years and a survey specialist for 3.5 years for a company working with independent schools.
