Bio

Deepa Koshaley Deepa Koshaley combines art, meditation, and nature to create peaceful, yet energetic visual experiences. Her intention is to evoke a lyrical and poetic mood. She is interested in expressing subjective emotions through abstracts than in replicating images and forms in the objective world. Her practice explores themes inspired by nature's opposing forces — Fire/Ice; Ebb/ Flow. In addition to being an artist, she is a 500 RYT yoga teacher and practicing landscape architect. She exhibits her work in numerous professional galleries, corporate offices, public exhibitions including Serendipity Labs, Mary Tomas Gallery, Irving Art Center, Eisemann Center (Richardson), and South Dallas Cultural Center. Her unique style has led to the increasing popularity of her exhibitions. Deepa has served in leadership roles with the Art of Living Foundation, Texas Visual Arts Association (TVAA), Dallas Art Dealers Association (DADA), Irving Arts Association, and the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco. Ms. Koshaley holds a Master’s in landscape architecture with additional studies in Visual Communication from the University of Texas at Arlington.
