Bio

My name is Laura Koller. I’m an Austrian artist. I switch between Greece and Austria. When I’m traveling a collect a lot of inspiration. I have studied graphic design for print mediums and worked the last 10 years in different kind of agencies and for magazines as an illustrator and graphic designer and also art director. Art is my constantly compaign since child-hood. I started to draw small worlds with black inkliner and over the years, I became more interested in painting too. Since my art education last year in Florence my way of making art became more colourful and I have became much more involved with my works and with myself as an artist. I feel like being the journey between colors and to discover the beauty in the little things in our life’s. I don’t want follow just one style for my art because the things, that I see and get inspired by them are completely different in their own ways and shapes. Art is more like an instrument for me to communicate with people. Art tells what I can‘t express with words. Art speaks in another way to you. It let you see feelings which are hidden but to tender to speak about. Art connects and can break the silence between us. On my website www.lapaletteblu.com you can find my works. They tell of deep feelings, journeys and encounters. I think my task as an artist is to take people on a journey with my pain- tings. To open their hearts and thus awaken their inner child.
