Beard Bates is an American artist (Los Angeles, CA), trained at The London Consortium Doc-toral Program [TATE Modern, ICA (Institute of Contemporary Art), AA (Architectual Association) and BFA (British Film Institute), University of London]. He’s a prolific and unique visual artist who produces large scale works on canvas, installations and digital works. Bates is a polymath creator, whose foundation is abstraction, and whose powerful works—whether they be visual, aural, or written—defy boundaries, representation, and transport observers beyond expectation and structure.
