This artwork features a composition where various fabric pieces are meticulously assemble to create a dynamic interplay of lines, shapes and colours; the use of different textures and thickness of textile fibres adds depth and dimension to the piece; the rhythmic succession of layers, combined with the intricate weaving of bands of fabrics in the background, forms a semi-abstract geometric lattice which captivates the viewer’s attention; the geometric forms, while abstract, transcend a sense of order and harmony, suggesting that even in complexity, there is an underlying unity.
