Monika Gloviczki Initially inspired by the art of the Impressionists, she ha s modernized her paintings by incorporating elements of abstraction and reportage. While she often approach es a painting with a scene in mind, she then allows her instincts and imagination to take over. Her artwork can be described as a form of “silent music,” a symphony played by pigments to form a harmony of composition and color, a song describing deeper layers and moving beyond the banalities of everyday life to reveal what’s extraordinary. She was born in Poland, but spent most of her adult life in Paris, where she earned MD and PhD degrees and worked in the medical field. She currently live s in Scottsdale, Arizona, and she is a full-time artist. Her new life in the US has expanded the sense of joy and freedom expressed in her art.
