Katrina Koltes is a full-time artist based in Bologna, Italy where she lives with her two kids and husband. In 2016 she began teaching online art workshops for adults, both through her own website and in other collaborative year-long classes. In 2019 she also held an in-person workshop in the Essence of Mulranny Studios in Ireland. In 2021 she took an intense year-long Mastery art program with the Milan Institute to hone her skills further. Katrina currently has a large following on social media, and has many collectors worldwide. In Italy she has exhibited her work in the Ducal Palace in Genova with Divulgrati Group, and in Bologna at the Regina Dei Quadri. She also is represented this year by Van Gogh Gallery of Madrid at the Contemporary Art Fair in Milano, and with Carey Gallery in Barcelona. She is also collaborating with the New York composer and pianist Margin Alexander this March, in his international concert "The Many Music Faces of Art" where he will be composing music inspired by her artwork. Katrina Koltes comes from a international childhood where she traveled worldwide doing fulltime disaster relief work, and rehabilitation art programs. Much of her creative inspiration comes from her life's experiences and travels, from spending time in the nature, connecting with the mysteries of the universe.
