Featuring Ariane became obvious after I met her and learned about her story: a force of nature, she grew up in France in the shadow of her famous dad Chef, and was not invited to take over the business and follow directly his footsteps, being a girl. After moving to New York and years of apprenticeship, she decided to create her own company. D’Artagnan has been pioneering organic and free-range products, and 35 years after, is now one of the first purveyor of game and foie gras in the US.
