My name is Mark Acornley I am 54 years old and I live in Alexandria Virginia. I work in Finance and Budgeting for the United States Government. I have a creative soul and find I need to express myself through my artwork. Because my job is very structured the need to let that creativity out more important. Lack of Time and Space have been giant roadblocks to my ability to paint over the year. Going through a divorce in 2021 made me realize the my painting was my therapy. Allowing my deep emotions to show through. This piece I am showing I painted last summer while in the midst of the divorce.
