Stefani Koparanova – SKOPA
Painter
Bio
My name is Stefani Koparanova, but people know my art under the name Skopa. I’m from Bulgaria but also an Australian citizen. I am 22 years old and I graduated from the high school of fashion design, studying Fashion Design in the city of Sofia until 2018. In 2022, I graduated from the National Art Academy in Bulgaria. I graduated with a degree in Poster and Visual Communication, but during the years I spent at the academy, I realized that my passion is painting. These four years have been magnificent for me, I participated in numerous exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad, and I received numerous awards.
With my works, I want to show all the people in the world the choices of men in their lifetime. With them I interpret the early loss of innocence, While the girl is not yet mature enough, during her childhood. And the desire for sexual contact of the men with girls that are too young. In my two paintings, I present the worm, as the personification of the man, and the green plum, that is too early enforced to ripen and to turn into a plum, as personification of the little girl. I painted them in the hope that more people would reach the depth and meaning of my art.
