Bio
I was born in Osaka and attended Kamikosaka Elementary School, Kamikosaka Junior High School, and Osaka Prefectural Yamamoto High School.
Although I only developed a love for art later in life thanks to the guidance of dyeing artist Keiko Mishiba, my academic path took a different direction and I studied social welfare at Bukkyo University in Kyoto. After graduating, I worked for many years in the field of elderly care, both as a caregiver and a counselor. However, due to illness, I retired in December 2024.
During my recovery, I received support to prepare for rejoining the workforce, and it was during this time that I had the chance to reconnect with painting. In September 2024, for the first time in about 37 years, I began seriously creating art again using watercolor and pastels. This rekindled my deep appreciation for the beauty of painting and the joy of creating. Inspired by this rediscovery, I decided to retire officially in December and soon after began working digitally on an iPad. In January 2025, I started sharing my artwork on Instagram and have since been wholeheartedly pursuing a path in art.
Each of my works is created with the heartfelt wish to bring happiness; both to others and to myself. Through my paintings, I hope to offer even a fleeting moment of joy. Every piece I create holds messages, dreams, unforgettable emotions, and fragments of cherished memories, imagined and expressed through color and form.
