Luca Ripamonti was born in Milan on 12/10/1964 and, at the age of five, the family moved to live in the upper Verbano, in the Vigezzo valley, known as 'the valley of painters'.
Here he enters since early adolescence in contact with painters of the local area who will determine a profound influence on his innate artistic predisposition.
After compulsory school he graduated as a surveyor, while continuing to cultivate an interest in artistic drawing at the same time. Here you will have the opportunity to meet people such as Giuseppe Calzolari, Ruggero Franceschini who will provide valuable support to direct the studies of artistic drawing, in this period will have the opportunity to study the 'drawing course of Charles Bargue' and 'Anatomy for artists by Burne Hogarth '. This orientation will prompt him to enroll at the age of eighteen at the 'School of Comics' in Milan.
Only after a year, however, will he interrupt his studies to embrace the role of 'shop boy' full time at the atelier of the painter Ugo Bernetti Da Vila, where he will study privately until 1995, continuing to support himself working as a freelancer. Currently married with two children, he lives and works as a full-time painter in the province of Varese.
