Laura Gómez was born and raised in San José, Costa Rica. She is a graduate degree student in Advertising Design, and currently works as an Art Director. Since her childhood she has been fascinated with cutting images from magazines and creating images freely.

“Collages for me are the most freeing type of work I can do. It is where I play, I let my intuition flow and forget all rules. Every piece is unique and reflects a specific moment, a specific stroke of inspiration.
I love that I get to repurpose images that already exist and giving them a new life, but I also love creating things with images that I photograph and giving these images whatever life, I want.
I love how collages let you create a personal style that can be unique to your art and your personality, there’s no 2 people creating the same art at the end its’ all an expression of each individual.”
