DoL is an expressionist painter & creative based in London, UK.
Throughout childhood DoL used illustration and painting as escapism, but lost their pas-sion for creativity during school and instead went on to study Philosophy. In adulthood DoL rediscovered art as a way to engage more constructively with their mental health and to process their thoughts in a way similar to journaling. Initially this was alongside full-time careers in the public and charity sector, however they now pursue art and design full time.
DoL primarily works in acrylic paint, ink, including lino printing, spray paint, and collage, and they have found a love for a neo-expressionist style inclusion of text to reflect the thoughts they struggle to vocalise.
